ABOUT THE AA LITTER
Kimber is a gun dog who is hunted regularly as a guide dog on quail, chukar and pheasant at Brush Dale. She was imported from the Czech Republic at age 10 weeks. Kimber is an International Champion in Conformation. Kimber's excellent physical structure allows her to cover a lot of ground without tiring. Kimber is an ambitious and energetic, but methodical and cooperative, hunter. She quarters naturally at 30-50 yards and checks back regularly. She has a beautiful, staunch, correct point for a Small Munsterlander. Kimber is a natural retriever who has always retrieved all types of game to hand, without any forced retrieve training. She is an especially enthusiastic retriever from water. Kimber passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test at age 4 months/3 days, making her one of the youngest dogs to have prized in the Test.
Ike is an International Champion in Conformation, so he meets the FCI Standard, has excellent physical structure and is an excellent example of the Small Munsterlander breed. Ike is hunted frequently by his owner, who is often hired as a guide on wild pheasant hunts in south-central Iowa. Ike is a tireless, bold, hunting machine with a terrific nose and the drive to find every bird in the field. He is a natural retriever with a soft mouth who dependably retrieves both furred and feathered game to hand without having any forced retrieve training. (more about Kimber) (more about Ike)
We expect the AA Litter to be at the middle of the FCI Standard for height (females 52cm, males 54cm). They will be bold, hard-working dogs with staunch points, terrific noses and correct coats with lots of feathering. They will be very cooperative hunters, will love the water and will be excellent trackers. We expect them to have a natural retrieve of game, both on land and from water, if properly conditioned as puppies. They will be sweet, loving and gentle family companions. Like all Brush Dale puppies, they will be born and raised in the home, will be handled extensively and will be well-socialized with kids, adults, dogs and a Siamese cat named Cleo.
