(QUESTION)
Our puppy seems to be settling in. He's 3 months old now. He is growing like a weed. We are trying not to over feed him, but he is putting on some extra weight. He eats three times a day, plus treats during training.

(ANSWER)
At 3 months of age, he needs to eat a high-quality All-Stages food only twice per day, particularly since he's getting treats too. Put the full food bowl down and let him eat until he walks away. Then pick up the bowl and put it away out of sight until his next regular feeding time. Try to be consistent with the times of day he is fed, as close to 12 hours apart as possible. At 6 months old, you can usually safely switch to a once-per-day feeding schedule.
