ABOUT THE O LITTER
Both Tess and Scout are gun dogs. Tess is used regularly on guided hunts here at Brush Dale and is a tireless, bird-finding machine who honors point naturally and tends to work fairly close. As a puppy, Tess had the most prey drive of any puppy we'd ever raised - Shorthairs included. She'd clean a field of birds in less time than it took to plant them! Tess has a staunch, classic point and a great nose. Tess passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a Prize I. Tess is an International Champion in Conformation. She has very good physical structure and conformation, so she is very athletic and beautiful. Scout is an energetic, tireless, big searching (but highly cooperative) dog in the field. He has a staunch, correct point. Scout is a fantastic tracker with a terrific nose who honors point naturally. He is an exceptional natural retriever who retrieved his first rooster pheasant when he was 4 months old and has retrieved every bird shot over him, to hand, since. Scout was started at Brush Dale and passed his NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a Prize I at age 10 months. The O Litter puppies will be bold, hard-working dogs with staunch points, terrific noses and gorgeous coats with lots of feathering. They will be very cooperative hunters, will love the water and will be excellent trackers. We expect them to have a natural retrieve of game, both on land and from water, if properly encouraged as puppies. They will be sweet, loving and gentle family companions. Like all Brush Dale puppies, they were born and will be raised in the home, will be handled extensively and will be well-socialized with kids, adults, dogs and cats.
