Bella Dam:
Brush Dale's Escape Artist (Bella)
Smokey Sire:
Brush Dale's Courage Under Fire (Smokey)
Both parents are gun dogs. Bella's excellent physical structure allows her to cover a lot of ground without tiring. Watching her in the field is like viewing poetry in motion. She has a gorgeous, staunch, classic point. Bella loves the water and swims as effortlessly as she runs. She has an excellent nose and is an exceptional tracker. Bella passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a prize 1 just two days after turning age 6 months. Smokey is a close-working and highly cooperative dog in the field. He has a staunch, correct point. Smokey is an natural retriever who has not required any forced retrieve training to retrieve to hand. (more about Bella) (more about Smokey)
We expect the L Litter to be mixture of roan and brown/white puppies. They will be bold, hard-working dogs with staunch points, terrific noses and correct coats with lots of feathering. They will be very cooperative hunters, will love the water and will be excellent trackers. We expect them to have a natural retrieve of game, both on land and from water, if properly conditioned as puppies. They will be sweet, loving and gentle family companions. Like all Brush Dale puppies, they will be born and raised in the home, will be handled extensively and will be well-socialized with kids, adults, dogs and cats.
