The current price for a Brush Dale puppy is $1600. We require a refundable deposit of $400 to hold a puppy for you from a Current Litter or Planned Litter. If you want a puppy from a Current Litter (i.e. puppies have already been born), we highly recommend you make your deposit at the same time you submit your Reservation. Otherwise, you will need to make your deposit when pregnancy has been confirmed for a Planned Litter. The deposit is refundable, so long as you cancel no less than two weeks prior to Pick Day. Otherwise your deposit can be transferred to a different upcoming litter. The remaining balance (plus 7% Iowa sales tax) is due when you pick up your puppy or just prior to us shipping your puppy to you. You may make your payments using your credit/debit card or PayPal (click Make Deposit button above) or by check payable to Brush Dale Kennel sent to 17374 Hwy 62, Maquoketa, IA 52060. If we ship your puppy, you will also be responsible for reimbursing us for all shipping-related costs. The shipping costs usually total $400-$500 for an 8-10-week-old puppy. We prefer to ship on the flight with the shortest total travel time, even if it's the most expensive, with American Cargo, United Cargo, or Delta Cargo. Ground shipping options are also available.

STARTED PUPPIES & FINISHED DOGS FOR SALE OR ADOPTION
Thelma
Thelma is from Muddy Paw's Kennel B Litter born 04/12/19. She is small, brown/white with lots of feathering, house-trained, basic obedience trained, sweet, affectionate, outgoing, loves people of all ages and is a terrific all-around pet. Sadly, however, she is gun-shy (but has zero problems with any other loud noises). Since her owner in Florida purchased her primarily as a hunting companion, Thelma needs a new home. For more information about Thelma, please contact her trainer, Mark Moore at Pumamoor@icloud.com or 386-847-2843.
Brush Dale's June Bug (June)
June is from the J Litter (age 5 - born 10/23/14). June needs a new home for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with her. The J Litter is a NAVHDA Natural Ability Award litter. June is a sister to the stud dogs, IntCH Brush Dale's Open Season and IntCH Brush Dale's Riding Shotgun. She is a half-sister to IntCH Brush Escape Artist (Bella) and looks very much like her. She is the same color and size. She received a Prize II in her NA Test at age 11 months. She is fully trained, is an excellent hunter and has no health nor temperament problems. Basically, she's perfect. She has been spayed and is ready for a new home. For more information about June, please contact her owner, Curt Nelson at cnelson75@msn.com
IntCH Brush Escape Artist (Bella)
Bella is from our E Litter whelped on 10/20/12. We plan to spay and retire Bella from breeding after she whelps and raises the JJ Litter whelping on/about July 16, 2020. We are looking for an adoptive retirement home for Bella where she will live out the rest of her life in the pampered style she deserves. Bella is in excellent health and will require regular off-lead exercise. She is accustomed to getting a 30-minute off-lead run in the fields every day. We prefer her to be adopted by an upland hunting home so she will be hunted. Bella is an experienced hunter of pheasant, chukar, quail, grouse and woodcock.
