ABOUT THE U LITTER
Both Anna and Indy are gun dogs. Anna is used regularly on guided hunts here at Brush Dale and is a tireless, bird-finding machine. She has a very solid, classic point and a great nose. She honors point naturally. She is a dependable and relentless natural retriever who loves the water. Anna has excellent physical structure and meets the FCI Standard for the Small Munsterlander breed. Anna passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a maximum score at age 7 months. This will be Anna's last litter.
Indy is an International and National Champion in Conformation, so he meets the FCI Standard, has excellent physical structure and is a superior example of the Small Munsterlander breed. Indy is an energetic, tireless, big searching (but obedient) dog in the field. He has a staunch, correct point. Indy absolutely loves the water and once he's in, it's hard to get him out! Indy is a fantastic tracker with a terrific nose and a natural retriever. Indy was imported from France and passed the JGHV VJP Test, JGHV HZP Test, NAVHDA Natural Ability Test, NAVHDA Utility Preparatory Test, and NAVHDA Utility Test. (more about Anna) (more about Indy)
We expect the U Litter puppies to be at the middle of the FCI Standard for height (females 52cm, males 54cm). They will be bold, hard-working dogs with staunch points, terrific noses and correct coats with lots of feathering. They will be very cooperative hunters, will love the water and will be excellent trackers. We expect them to have a natural retrieve of game, both on land and from water, if properly conditioned as puppies. They will be sweet, loving and gentle family companions. Like all Brush Dale puppies, they will be born and raised in the home, will be handled extensively and will be well-socialized with kids, adults, dogs and cats.
