The current price for a Brush Dale puppy is $2000. We require a refundable* deposit of $500 to hold a puppy for you from a Current Litter or Planned Litter at the current price. The deposit is refundable* so long as you cancel no less than two weeks prior to Pick Day. Otherwise your deposit can be transferred to a different upcoming litter. The remaining balance is due when you pick up your puppy (plus 7% Iowa sales tax) or just prior to us shipping your puppy to you. You may make your payments using your credit/debit card or PayPal (click Make Deposit button above) or by check payable to Brush Dale Kennel sent to 17374 Hwy 62, Maquoketa, IA 52060. If we ship your puppy, you will also be responsible for reimbursing us for all shipping-related costs. Currently, airline shipping costs total approximately $650 for an 8-week-old puppy and options are severely limited. Most puppy buyers are flying into Moline, Illinois (MLI) where I meet them with their puppy and then they fly back out of MLI the same/next day.

PLANNED LITTERS
YY LITTER
IntCH Brush Dale's Va Va Voom (Grace) was bred on February 28, 2024 to IntCH Brush Dale's Make My Day (Beaker) ( view litter pedigree). Puppies are expected to whelp on/about May 1, 2024 and be ready for their new homes on/about June 26, 2024. YY Litter puppies should be typical Brush Dale linebred puppies: excellent conformation, highly cooperative, sensitive, calm, very easy to train and live with, but also driven hunters and natural retrievers who love the water. The Litter should have a high degree of consistency, so all YY puppies should be very similar in temperament, size and conformation. Ideally, a male from this litter will become qualified for breeding. Puppies are expected to be roan in color and of average height for Small Munsterlanders (males 54-56cm, females 52-54cm).
ZZ LITTER
IntCH Brush Dale's Over the Moon (Annie) will be bred on March 6, 2024 to IntCH Dag Zimni Vrch (Ozzie) ( view litter pedigree). Puppies are expected to whelp on/about May 8, 2024 and ready for their new homes on/about July 3, 2024. This breeding is an outcrossing. Annie has an imported sire (Indy - France) and grandsire (Scout - Denmark). She is being bred to an imported stud (Ozzie - Czech). We want at least two males from the ZZ Litter to become qualified for breeding and are open to special contracts for buyers who plan to hunt test past the NA level in NAVHDA. Puppies from the ZZ Litter should be cooperative natural retrievers who love the water and are easy to train and easy to live with. Puppies are expected to be both brown & white and roan in color and of average height for Small Munsterlanders (males 54-56cm, females 52-54cm).
AAA LITTER
IntCH Brush Dale's Heart Stopper (Claire) will be bred at her next heat expected in/about June 2024 to VC IntCH Brush Dale's Open Season MH (Jager) ( view litter pedigree). Puppies are expected to whelp in/about August 2024 and ready for their new homes in/about October 2024. The AAA Litter will be Brush Dale linebred puppies. The sire's owner will be taking a male puppy for future breeding and intends to test his puppy at the highest levels in NAVHDA and AKC. AAA puppies are expected to be cooperative yet driven, with the degree of independence and love of water necessary to excel in the UT Duck Search. The AAA Litter should be ideal for handlers planning on high-level hunt testing, particularly handlers experienced in training dogs using reinforcement methods. The AAA puppies, while being driven, independent hunters will also be sensitive dogs. Puppies are expected to be roan in color and of average height for Small Munsterlanders (males 54-56cm, females 52-54cm).
